Back in the day, I thought of David Lee Roth as a great frontman for the band (which he was). But now, he comes across as a circus ringleader or used car salesman. He's loud and dangerously close to being obvoxious. Less loud talking about nothing and more actual singing would be appreciated.

@crazytempest I saw him with VH in 2007 and while he didn't sound as good as on the albums, he didn't sound like you describe either. He sounded decent on most of the songs.
