@stevebut no she is an alien wih magic the old guy is just an old guy with magic every one who has magic other then gwen got it from an a nother relalite there are also othere aliens in that reality that know magic.

To be honest about the show: now I've grown a bit and I don't watch Ben 10 anymore, but from my personal experience, Ben 10 and Ben 10 Alien Force SHOULD be 2 completely different shows. If Ben 10 Alien Force is a show right after Ben 10, many ideas shall clash (contradict). For example Gwen's alien powers with Magic. If Gwen has magic before like that old magician guy, would that make him an alien too?
I rest my case by saying that these two shows should be divided.
