  • so what size groups do you get at 100yards?

  • @akshooter762 when i was siting it in i went out to 100 yards and was trying to pull the group down when I ran out of ammo. I will be doing another range day just for groups.

  • Can't recommend any scopes for ya, but I'm sure you chose well. Can't wait for you to shoot this thing.

  • @DemonHide Should be fun! I gotta do the barrel break in soon. Maybe this weekend if I get a scope. Lets hope for a good paycheck. haha

  • i have same gun in 7mm-08 and bought it used. did do stock myself but nothing with trigger i did a base coat close to same color and then used a green spray. i mounted a nikon prostaff 4-12X40 bdc. for 219 and tax. i got excellent groups and have already toasted a coyote. fine rifle. . .

  • your supposed to finger tighten both action screws. Then, with the barrel pointed in the air, push down on the barrel while tightening the screws. that presses the recoil lug firmly against its bedding.

you can get a tasco varmint/tactical 6-24x44 for around 100. i am putting one a stevens 223 as soon as it gets here.

  • I use a CenterPoint 4-16x40AO with mil-dots on my Stevens 200 .243. Its a nice scope, and I only paid $70. It also has target turrets.

  • The Nuclear 5 series! 175.00 All mil-spec, and ready to go!

  • have you gotten a scope yet? I've heard good things about Nikon buckmaster scopes. they are in your price range.
