An old experimental film of mine from 2002. Shot on Tri-X black and white stock using a Bolex 16mm camera, and edited on a Steinbeck - all effects done in camera or on the film itself.

  • this is great, well done. Im about to do a project on 16mm film, but i know nothing about any of it:S

any advice? is it difficult rewinding and reshooting the film, i mean to get it in the right place and that?

Any advice you could give me would be great!

  • Ultimately, the whole thing hinges on using a Bolex 16mm Camera - as long as you have the extra components, it's very easy to rewind the film, and thus do multiple exposures. It's then just a matter of meticulously keeping note of the frame counter when you shoot, and doing the maths to work out how far to rewind.

As you can imagine, it was very hard to do the triple exposure where two of his heads appear above him.

    happy shooting!
