Classical Guitar Lesson #13" 'ac' Complex

This is a bio-feedback method for gaining independence of the 'ac' complex from the 'm' during 'i' and 'm' alternation. This can be done off the guitar, but eventually should be done on the guitar - still holding the ac complex.

The problem it solved for me was that as I increased speed with 'im', the 'ac' would curl (flex) into my hand. Also, if you have a problem with 'c' sticking out while alternating 'im', this should help.

Oddly enough, it seems to encourage real sympathetic movement since it stops 'c' from tensing and allows the 'ac' complex to move natuarally with the 'm'. If you notice in the last few seconds of the video I alternate 'i' and the 'ac' moves freely with 'm'

@Lutemann im relatively new to classical guitar playing and have always had trouble with my a-c fingers being 'connected', when you say 'ac complex' are you referring to a common problem with the a and c fingers? my i-m-a fingers are fairly independent but a-c has always been a bit of a struggle.

I have a similar problem, with my left hand "c" or the "4" finger. When I move my "3" finger or, when ever I'm not using my "4" finger as a matter of fact, the "4" sticks up. I've tried the exercise you show here, on my left hand to try to correct this but, it didn't seem to work as well as it did for my right hand. Do you have any advice on how to correct my left hand's pinkie?
