I've decided to take a bit of a break from MUGEN videos, and do some other gameplay vids. First, I present to you, "HOVER". This game was included on the OS disk for Windows 95. There's a reason why it wasn't sold on its own, and that is because it's closer to a minigame than a real full game. The levels repeat every 3 levels (though more drones and flags get added). There's no music (there's a way to trigger it, I just forgot how), and this game ran when 256 color GFX cards were state-of-the-art. However, you have to appreciate the fact that it's addicting as all hell.

  • @PhillyTheScrummie I looked it up on Wikipedia. The Wiki page had like, a direct download at the bottom of the page.

  • @LEDanimator SAME!!! lol where did you download it?

  • FFF. Haven't played this game since I was what? 3?

I just found a download of it, so good to be playing this game again. <3

  • Oh my. We used to have that game on our school's pc, and played it all the time. :) I was always interested in game's backstories, and I wondered about why they were racing and what those places were. Pity there weren't any backstory.

But the game was great, especially at it's time. I should try to play it again some day. :)

  • Older Windows/DOS games should be released as 'classics' more often. It is rare to see games like this on 360's XBLA, for example.
