The memorable 20k of Brussels coloured very orange this year. An absolute record of 1.172 runners for Europe, 361 women and 811 men, took the streets of Brussels on 29 May under very difficult weather conditions, the sun was burning hard.
Our fastest colleagues where Johannes Kind (1h15) of the EESC and Tunde Macher (1h28) of DG ECFIN, well done to both of you.
The inter DG classification goes for the 3rd year to our colleagues of the EP with Luis Sanchez Posada, Flavio Mastropietro and Nathalie Leduc.
John Gatti closes the row in the ranking with a time of 3h32; he enjoyed the race the longest. The Europe Direct Contact Center and the European Year of Volunteering, both programmes of DG COMM have been supporting our team.
Rendez-vous next year on 27 May for the 11th edition of 'Running for Europe'.
