Warhammer - Cheap- Stuff

Granted Warhammer isn't the cheapest Hobby...
But saving money while blowing it seems to make sense...
Recently on a U.S. Cable News channel they reported that men spend more money than women...
And they actually spend 60% more on frivilous items than women....
Hmmmmmmm......I wonder what those rates are in England and Japan?

I know there are rules changes since this edition...
But I've picked up most of the army codex's for this edition for $5 each...
80+mini's and a playable game for $23 YaY!

oh, I bought that starter set whit my brother when we were younger and wanted to start playing this stuff. I took the Lizardmen and he took the Bretons. We played some but not much. I never really went around and painted my models, have them in a box largely unpainted etc now. My brother did paint all his bretons though. Surely 10years back now. I was only 12 years or something then, maybe younger. When I look at the models I painted back then, the few I did. Tthey look so BAD! horribly painted!

I still have this set,gave the bretonnias to my dad.When comparing this set to the battle of skull pass.You get more stuff for skull pass.More a random model units,plus its alot cheaper.And with the older set,you had to buy the magic set as well.Old set w/ magic set about 210 total.But this was way back when and this now.Some of the older model look better then the new version.Drunken dwarf pewter models XD,you won't find those any more.

i think 8th edietion is rumoured for this summer and i think it is orcs vs empire ton of knights and state troops for me yay
