This is part 3 of "Mystery of God's Love." Rev. Anton T. Wesley, pastor of Ephesians Baptist Church in Clinton, MD, brings an anointed message that grapples with the profound mystery that is God's love. Taking the incarnation as a starting point, the message takes an inspired, biblically sound look at how Jesus Christ, heaven's spotlessly holy Lamb, became what He hates the most, in order to save those whom He loves the best. There is only one proper response to this unbelievable offer of loving salvation through His substitutionary death, burial and resurrection. Turn to God, in full repentance, and receive by faith the rewards of the atoning and intercessory work of Jesus Christ our Lord. This is the morning message on Sunday, September 20, 2009. It will truly bless you. If you want to see the rest of the sermon, please keep checking the channel periodically. I will be uploading other clips from time to time. The address of the church is 7171 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735. Donations to the ministry are appreciated and should be made payable to Ephesians Baptist Church. Christ's Peace, Pastor Wesley

  • Dear Seed Sower:

Thank you for pointing this out. Of course, I agree with you. I carefully reviewed the tape, and I did refer to Moslems, and others religious adherents, as "brothers." I want to stress that I do not, in any way, consider them to be brothers in the sense that we are adopted children through Christ . I used it in the generic sense that we are a common humanity needing salvation. I will strive to avoid saying anything that causes misunderstanding. Christ's Peace, Paswesley

  • Dear Rev. Wesley, what a powerful message you delivered on the Mystery of God's Love. We live in such a fast paced world, with so many things tugging at us for attention that it is easy to take for granted the truth of the suffering that took place on the cross. Jesus is my Lord and has been since 1974. I have seen the good and the bad ,over the years, within the Christian Church. We need more preaching, such as presented in your videos. I encourage in your efforts for the Kingdom of God.

  • Keep teaching the Word with all boldness. The Holiness of God poured out His wrath on the spotless Son of God so we could be forgiven and set free from its guilt.

  • Thank you for sharing Pastor, God bless your ministry

  • Never feel bad for being Honest!

    I appreciate your Honesty!

  • Mohamed was a false prophet serving a false god. Only those who confesses that Jesus Christ is LORD are our brothers. Just as Christ said He who does the will of the Father is my mother, and brother. Just thought I'd leave that thought with ya!

    God bless

  • We must meditate on the Cross, this will keep our hearts close to the Savior.Even in His glorified body He still has the nail scars as an eternal reminder of what happened on Calvarys Cross.

  • Thank God for a message on the Cross .The gospel is the power of God to save the vilest sinner through faith in His blood.
