if our healthcare system is so flawed then why are other countries flocking to use ours which is the best in the world. no where in the constitution does it say the government needs to provide healthcare.

umm we're the only industrialized nation that allows thousands of its citizens to die because they don't have adequate health insurance.

and no where in the constitution did it say that slavery was wrong, or anything about public education. and yet one of those became an amendment and the other one promotes 'the general good'

Doing nothing is not an option. But forcing all Americans to buy healthcare, thereby transferring wealth from all Americans to the healthcare industry you proclaim to hate is even worse.

You do not have to settle. We should have universal healthcare in this country. The House bill doesn't even come close to fixing our health system. It leaves millions uninsured. You need to pay more attention to what you are supporting.

Believe me, moocowsforever, that we have payed attention. We understand that this is less than ideal, but we also know that something, anything, needs to be done. an individual mandate, if paired with a public option, would hopefully not send millions of new customers to private insurers.

Well, take into concideration that the United States has paid for most of these countries security for the past 60 years and that is why they have had extra money for health insurance.

Keep in mind, all of this free stuff the you all want go give away is not free. I hope you all like living a lower standard of living than you parents did.
