They are not really unsafe. I ride mine to work (I have a video of my commute on my profile page if you want to see it). But it is good to have flags and lights. My experience is that if you ride on the road where you are visible (not on sidewalks where cars cant see you at corners) Most drivers are MORE AWARE of me on the trike than on my mountain bike. They think I am WIDER than I actually am, so they give me more room on the side of the road!

ROFL LEO! But seriously people don't think ur crazy. I wish I had one of those bikes. But it does seem quite unsafe for some reason, I think because of how low down you are.

HA! You got to film your whole commute home someday Leo! I bet it would be funny. I have been riding my trike for 6 months and commute a few days a week on it. I put up a video of my commute recently. It was fun filming it too!
