This is a music video about Charlie Chaplin and his first major leading lady, Edna Purviance.

Music: Forever
Artist: John Stamos
Software: Windows Movie Maker

Lyrics:

If every word I said
Could make you laugh
I'd talk forever
I'd ask the sky just what we had
It showed forever
If the song I sing to you
Could fill your heart with joy
I'd sing forever

Forever, forever
I've been so happy loving you
Baby, let the sing forever
I have enough forever
baby, let the sing forever
I have enough forever

If every word I said
could make you laugh
I'd talk forever (together my love)
Forever, forever
I've been so happy loving you

Let the love I have for you
Live in your heart and be forever
Forever, forever
I've been so happy loving you

  • What colour were Charlie's eyes? Maybe green?

  • @illumegoindown They were very blue :)

  • Where can I watch these films?

  • De flesta går att se här på YouTube. Jag kollade lite snabbt, och då var det bara filmerna In the Park och The Vagabond som jag inte hittade hela utav.

Var det någon speciell film du ville veta titeln på?

  • this song is so nice and romantic, who sings it???

  • You can read that in the description. It's John Stamos.

  • I loved this so much! Great song choice! It was so romantic it made my heart ache.

  • @ChaplinsViolin Hey, I enjoyed your video; I just came across it a couple of hours ago or so. (Cute screen name you have, too.) Thanks for posting it; it's beautiful. Also, I wanted to thank you for answering the questions on the wedding and cane-grabbing scenes; I've had those same questions myself, having seen those clips before elsewhere.

  • It made me cry in a good way :)

  • Just a lovely video...I think Edna was his best leading lady...they had a real rapport on the screen. It's too bad the real life romance broke up after a time.

  • I read that after Edna retired from the movies, Chaplin kept her on his payroll for the rest of her life.

  • wonderful!great!

  • why weren't they together "forever"? Edna brought out all the cuteness from Chalpin.

  • @illumegoindown Yes, they were very blue. Not that ice bllue color, like Stan Laurel, but a sea blue. Chaplin says in his auto-bio that women were frequently suprised that his eyes were blue, as they many times photographed dark brown.

  • @gfks11 genious chaplin...wonderful indeed!
