Castlevania: Symphony of the Night #31- Entering the Inverted Castle

You didn't think the game was done yet, did you? Nope, now you gotta explore the castle again- upside down! Fight Richter with the Holy Glasses equipped, and you can see the orb controlling him. To make this easier equip the Holy Mail, which reduces all of Richter's holy-based attacks (everything except blade dash and kick) deal 1 damage. Break the orb and you'll free Shaft's control on Richter. Now a another castle waits to be explored.

You should have 99.5% at the end of the first castle before fighting Richter, if you're going for map completion (I think there's an achievement for it on XBox version). After entering the Inverted Castle, go back to the normal castle, and get the square above the teleporter for 100.1% map.

i need help on this game i just got it. but anyways when i kill richter... i win? lose? i dont know... because i have killed him but the castle just gets destroyed so yea... i nedd help.

You got one of the bad endings. Wear the Holy Goggles when you fight Richter, and destroy what's controlling him (check the walkthrough playlist or use a guide on Gamefaqs to find what you get the Holy Goggles). Then you can move on to the next castle.

i spent all day tryng to get all the castle uncovered now i got to do the same for the inverted castle thats crazy and then i have to play the entire game as ritcher etf al i need to know can you switch from castle to castle becouse i wasnt done uncovering all of the first one

Of course, just use the warp in the keep or a Library Card item to warp back to the first castle.

No. I did get one though on accident. I used it for a few rooms that were troublesome, to show how powerful it is.

Now, the Rune Sword...I definitely got one of those, that's my favorite sword. =)

if you fight Richter and don't wear the holy glasses and only use hellfire its like fight between Richter and Dracula.

what do the familiars do? like you bat? does it drain blood from you enemies? find secret stuff? or just bite them.....im using the demon for now

@ricangamer1  You can also go back to the top of the tower (bottom?) that you started the second castle in and push up, like a warp point.

Actually, the Holy Sword is better for the Richter-Shaft fight. This way, you won't hurt Richter by accident when you fight Shaft's orb.

@krypto32123 Just Watch The Screen From The Xbox And Look At The Computer Showing All The Secrets From YouTube And Just Keep Doing IT Until You Have All The Areas On Both Maps
