Eta: 11:45 am September 19,2010.
Runway: rw5 Davao-RPMD. Cruising: FL330. . Dist: 512nm.
Seated: forward cabin. Visibility and weather good.
SMOOTHEST landing I had. Pilot was spooling on and off on finals for softer touchdown and thrust reversers werent actually that loud compared to my 2nd trip. Pilot did use autobrakes for shorter landing roll then exited to terminal. We were in holding pattern for 10 mins. before goin to finals. ( Btw, sorry for the noisy lady at the back, cant keep her mouth SHUT!! )

  • Nice video.. Am amazed PAL continues to utlise their 747 on domestic & international flights... These planes must be approaching the 20 yr old age... Combine with a high utilization rate... Respect to the maintenance guys!

  • @didierlotsyeng tnx man. This 747 is a bit old (no PTVs and old PAL seats), but engine sounds still good coz the pilot was spooling it on and off for softer touchdown. My return flight is w/ a newer PAL 747, now has PTVs and better seats. They use these 744s at day here for domestic flights and at night is used for its int'l route i.e. KLAX, KSFO

  • Wow excellent view and clip! Which cam did you use? Top quality!

  • @matthiashaenni its just a simple Sony digicam. outdated, but because it was high noon so lighting is good. tnx man!
