Underwater Swimming #1

I built an underwater swimming rig and put a tiny DXG-506V camera inside. The diving bell was made out of a 4 inch T-Value from Home Depot with 4" plexiglass circles hot glued in the ends.

I like the DXG because of it's size BUT the newer model does not have a 1/4" mount on the bottom. So, I took apart the 305 and swapped parts with the 506. Works great! Let me know if you have any other questions.

But i am gettin DXG 305 Does dat make it differaint, And can i get any SD Memory Card And use it or is it a Sertan One? Reply Back Plz?

I also have a 305 but don't use it as the 506 has better quality. I am not sure how long the 305 will record. Sorry.

I can do a couple of hours on a 2GB SD at highest resolution. I plan to use the underwater housing and bolt it to the top of my car on my next trip to North Carolina(6 hours) where I will film continuously at smaller resolution the whole way.

Keep an eye out for it.

Hey, the DXG is NOT waterproof. I built an underwater diving rig from 4" diameter PVC from Home Depot. Otherwise, I've gotten the DXG completely soaked a few times and it still works.

I think it's kinda cruel to post swimming video's to land-locked mid-westeners in the middle of JANUARY! MAYBE it's just me, I don't KNOW..Go ahead, throw in the super-models in the skimpy bikinis! Please,please :)
