SPSCR ringing three leads of Bristol on the excellent eight at Flookburgh. This classic Taylor eight were cast in three lots over a span of 108 years - a testament to the "true harmonic" bell.

  • 3 hours 38 peal speed is a bit steady but these are easy to handle and I think we proved that for a short touch this speed works!

  • @fartwell2000 I agree that these are very nice bells, and yes I also agree that the striking in my videos is not the best. I was just commmenting on the speed of the ringing thats all.

  • @KDowner94 These are an excellent 8. Had the pleasure of ringing a peal on them when just a six.

Kieran, I think that the band ringing here has a good idea of what speed they wish to ring at-and the standard of striking is good, in fact, its much better than in the videos you have posted of IoW towers...

  • Not bad at all! I didn't hear the comment about the leading, but I probably agree with it ;-)

  • Very nice sounding bells, very good striking.

  • You are very good at playing the bells! Your sound system is similar to our system Verona! Very good! Congratulations
