Who be these cultural pirates in the comments that unquestioningly agree with your putting fences around your cultural work (video)? You believe in the GPL which mandates that derivatives be open. So your choice of creative commons licensing is confusing methinks ARRRRRRRRRRRH! Shiver me blind spots! I have pointed out in other videos that there are people who might take what I have done out of context and use it against the Free Software movement.
Creative Commons was not designed to replace every type of licensing, but to make simple licensing simple to do.
People wanting to make derivatives of my work may contact me, and I might be willing to dual license the work to allow the derivative.
Yes, I would make you walk the plank for a treasonous mashup. You can bet your eyepatch.
