Ludwig Universal 14x4, 6 tube lugs, nickel over brass (NOB), from the 20s or 30s, single flange (brass?) hoops, clips are newer and in good shape

RCK throw to replace the original. Has a couple extra holes (not by me). Snare release doesnt drop snares all the way (see video). A new throw could probably solve this, or maybe a triple flange bottom hoop. The shell has a minor crack/split in the bottom flange (snare side) that has not spread and does not affect the sound in any way. Pics available upon request. Aside from the crack/split and the snare situation, this is in great shape for its age.

Sound: A great all around snare, cuts well and has a nice crisp pop with a good amount of lows.

No muffling was added to the drum before making the video so you can get a sense of what it sounds like without muffling. The video has just the snare miced up, no EQ or any effects.
