7' diameter wheel nearing completion, just waiting for steel disks to replace the temporary wood ones. Spins in a slight breeze so should go well when fitted next to the river. A 4" pipe will bring water from 100yds upstream

  • 2" shaft & bearings from internet, the wheels 7' dia and works well. video of it working on YouTube, type in galedffrwd it should come up

    Still working on getting power from it, good luck with your project.

  • Nice job what size shaft and pillow bearing did you use and also what size is that wheel .I am making one myself , may I ask where did you buy the shaft and bearing , I have been looking.. Hope to see a video of it working ,if you like check out my channel and see my project.
