@ticklemepink188 - yeah, he broke ichiro's single-season hit record!! lol! i never could figure out why the cubs just didn't like him. i suppose sam fuld is an up-and-comer, and marlon byrd is....well, he's not milton bradley. that's all that matters there. it's because we had sorry-ano's gigantic contract. otherwise, matt would be tearing it up for the boys in blue! :(

Hey I'm from japan!! Yestarday matt made an amazing catch, hit a homerun, and hit between right field and center field when the bases were loaded!! And I was there live at the game! (Matt's team played against a team called the yakulto swallows. Matt's team lost the first game against the yakuluto swallows. But they one yestarday and playing a game right now!!

murton played 144 games as the cubs' starting left fielder in i believe 2006, the year before they received soriano. he wasn't held hostage by anyone. the A's didn't deserve a player of his quality, and colorado has been using him a lot this season.
