I like the cut of this scene that was in the movie better (no shakedown) because Dr. Ari wouldn't be stupidly renegotiating his deal with Nate, which is $15K cash per. For that he treats bullet wounds, doesn't report them as required by law, and gets more work next time a crew member gets wounded. He's rocking the boat here, and anybody smart enough to earn an MD would know better than to do that with Nate, Neil or associates.

@Ydefinity i think you're right about them being familiar with each other. in the script, he was supposed to be a veterinarian
