Very interesting information design solution. May I ask a few questions...Where can we see it ? Is it 3D ? How is it more effective than conventional bar graphs ?
I have found that circles are misleading in the interpretation of their sizes. Older atlas use them for population sizes for example, and I have always been surprised to see that a circle that appears to be say 50% larger is in effect much larger than perceived. Isn't there a similar risk with spheres ?
