This is a very well built piece of kit. May I ask, what poundage (tonnage?) of apples constitutes a 'pressing' to make a batch of cider with this equipment?

@rickartj If you can etc...you can take the squeezed bits put in a big pot, cover with water, and cook on low, add sugar, strain, and cook down to get apple jelly.

yeah man, the way he pieced it together really digs back into the Roman roots of architecture and technology. I mean seriously, this is one of the best i've seen in a while. it makes me so hot. ugh. so fucking hot.

What do you do with the squeezed out fruit pieces? Compost or cow feed? Seems kind of a shame to just throw it away.

I give some of it to a freind who has a pig.
The rest is composted and ends up in the garden.
