@1917candy that is perhaps because sarah's charisma and talent appears to be more appealing and relatable to the filipino audience. after all they are in such a business where marketability is the key to get sponsorship from the high-paying advertisers. we could not blaim ABS-CBN for choosing sarah over this exceptionally talented singer. sarah has a little bit of everything if you may..she can sing, act and she has the charm to captivate the filipino audience, the target market of ABS CBN.

i like Sarah's voice but Sheryn sings better than her in terms of high notes. I understand that they have different level of difficulties as far as execution is concerned but Sheryn knows where to stop and prolong the notes. Its just unbelievable! Amazing voice! I remember the Star in a million days, I almost got cried when they announced Eric as the winner, although the decision was valid but Eric just chose the right song. Thats just it. In terms of voice quality, Sheryn killed it!
