Matt & Carl Olsen and Dave Monahan build a 1936 Knucklehead in three and a half hours from parts at last Fall's Davenport National AMCA meet. Time lapse, over three hours compressed to less than five minutes.
@Taildragger1 they are known globally as two arrogant fucks that have managed to bully their way to wealth by fucking everybody in the amca....don't fall for their phoney nice guy images they are true assholes.
The guy with the black hat, white shirt, and blue bib did all the work. Then the "surfer kid" starts it. Man, it sure started easy!!!. They must have used engine builders lube pretty liberally, and obviously these guys really know what their doing all the way to the paint job (designed to get-away from the Repetitive-War olive drab schemes that were all VERY prevalent in American culture all the way up to the "Deco-era").
Carl, great job there...even though it looks like Gramps was in frame more than anyone else(well, except for you) anyway, kudos to you and your team. You've got an army of guys out here eating their hearts out wanting one of these bikes. It looked like you might be putting out a video on the whole experience. If so, how would I get a copy? I think you would be a wealth of info. for someone like myself who has wanted an old Harley like yours since we were young. They are the coolest. ThankYou.
Next to anythng purple or yellow, that red/green paint is the tackiest and ugliest that Harley came up with. It was tacky ugly in 36 and the same today. Monkey see monkey do!

Seems like you have some sort of problem. If you know anything about early big twins you would see that this is a very correct '36 scheme. I think it's totally cool. Way cooler than anything built after '48.
Wish it was mine. By the way, these two guys are known globally as THE world class early EL and FL OHV experts. Do you have any credentials?
That bike looks discusting. This clown has shit taste in paint jobs. Can you say California Cock sucker style. What a freak of nature. All black! He's trying to be a damn artist. All black, a true artist knows when to put the paint brush down! He's 22 , I got my first Harley age 20!discusting! California cock style! Twilight onearmbiker
