Most of these are marriage converts...quite common in the US. It's mostly a convenience thing. You won't find any of these folks particularly religious. In fact, I'd be very surprised if any of them knew the Torah, and I'd be dumbfounded if they actually lived by it. In the US, religion is like a club you join.

What a joke this video is ! There are only 15 million jews in the world and many of them are atheists or agnostic.Also many jews are marrying gentiles and converting to Christianity.Buddhism has become very popular for jews in the US.

@zeinzeint You can't just convert to Judaism in a day like you can Christianity. In order to be a real Jew you have to go through a length process, that takes anywhere from 8 months to several years. There is a Beit Din (3 judges) who determine if you know enough to be Torah observant, and rituals to complete afterwards. It isn't simply "I accept the laws of Hashem," like Christianities "I accept Jesus into my heart." Learn before you type nonsense.

@MikieDaC Actually you are making an assumption based on false ideas carried over from Christian religion. Jewish converts (even Reform) are put through much further tests than to convert to Christianity or Islam, and there is actually a set system on how to do it that's been around for millenia. You can't know how observant someone is without talking to them about it. Maybe ask yourself why the non-Jew is converting to Judaism and not the other way around.
