@manu57ize Besides the pot, it sounds like vocally it doesn't fit Paul. This is one of those 'anger' songs that fits John. Thank god they decided John should do this. It's John's song anyways.

I think when John and Paul covered each other's songs, they tried to do it not so good to avoid a competition between them.
When John covered songs of Dylan and Elvis he did it jokingly from the same reason.
