  • He quoted Craig blomberg, well defended the traditional authorship of the Gospels in the "Case for Christ".So either quote him as source to counter subjective argumentd and be consistent enough to take back your rational argument using the same source.

  • Infact,Jesus's reference to the hour suggests that he was looking beyond the present wedding to his own mission. In other words putting God and the command from him before anything else. This was also the theme when he stopped a person from attending his father's funerals.Basam says love for God is greater than love for man,so why does he find Jesus's own actions his teachings (doing the same thing) so odd?

  • Basam quoted D.A Carson on the issue of Jesus addressing his mother.Well here is a quote from the New Bible Commentary of with Carson is one of the editors

"They way in which Jesus spoke to his mother (softened somewhat in the NIV)may seem strange, but his intention clearly was to correct any misunderstandings that he might take orders from anyone other than the Father(cf 5:30,8:29)"pg 1029

  • @pantherlake2002

It is true Quran does not have any contraditions.

"Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions. (The Noble Quran, 4:82)"

  • @xcode394 Lol. Quran has no contraditions.

  • @xcode394 Lol.

  • he talks about how the bible has contradictions. he apparently dont realize that the qu'ran has contradictions too.

  • he spends such a long time dissing the bible but barely talks about his qu'ran. if the qu'ran is so much better than the bible then why doesnt he just use the qu'ran to disprove the bible??

  • So let me get this right. A Muslim who claims that Jesus is a prophet and that his teachings says is sinless attacks the holiness of Christ...

  • bassam actually didn't touch any single issue which Br. David asked him to address!
