The Silverstein Lecture series is hosted by Northwestern University's Center for Genetic Medicine twice annually. The spring 2011 lecture series, held on May 11, 2011, featured Cynthia Kenyon, PhD Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco.

  • @BioIngDavid sounds a bit like caloric restriction, but I'm not 100% sure.

  • This is so interesting. I would love to look young again and remain looking like a 20 year old (unfortunately I'm already 28). I would love to live 1000 years. I wouldn't have wanted to live generations later, I LOVED the 90's but why couldn't technology be more advanced during my lifetime? :( I would happily give myself up for research in this area.
