haha I forgot to write that Grace didn't have school Thursday and Friday because of teacher inservice days! Sorry! Back to the story ( now it'll make sense.)

I was asleep in my room when my door burst open and I was attacked! I opened my eyes.
" You're here!"
Kevin, Nick, Joe and Frankie let me go...... well, Frankie didn't.
" Gracie! I missed you!"
I started to cry.
" I missed you guys!"
After Frankie let me go I ran into Nick's arms.
" Nick!"
I ran and hugged Joe and Kevin, and then turned back to Nick.
" You go taller!"
He laughed.
" Sorry?"
Joe tackled me again.
" You haven't!"
I pouted.
" Thanks Joe, real supportive."
Kevin helped me back up.
" You've gotten skinnier!"
Joe and Nick looked at each other and Nick crossed his arms.
" What's his name?"
I laughed.
" Whose?"
Nick laughed.
" The guys you're trying to impress."
I rolled my eyes and threw my pillow at him.
" There is no guy."
We all stopped when we heard dad call from the living room.
" Grace! Come here! Don't we get a hi too?"
I hopped onto Kevin's back and we all trooped into the living room. When mom, dad and Nanna saw me on Kevin's back they laughed. Dad shook his head.
" You're 14 years old and still get piggy back rides!"
I hopped down and hugged my parents.

Nanna came in and handed me the phone. I had to push Joe away because he was trying to listen.
" Hello?"
" Hey Grace, it's Aly! Can you come over?"
I quickly thought of an excuse.
" Uh... no."
I pretended to cough.
" I'm sick."
" Oh.....ok, bye!"
I hung up and looked at Kevin.
" I bet I can beat you at guitar hero now!"
Kevin laughed.
" You're on!"
We headed into my room and got a game going. I was winning when the doorbell rang. I looked out my window and saw Aly holding a thermos. My eyes widened and I ran into the hallway.
" Don't open....."
Nick opened the door.
" Hello?"
Aly stared at my brother and then at me when I got to the door.
" Aly, I can explain!"
Aly shook her head at me and her eyes started to water.
" Save it."
She started walking away but then turned back around.
" Oh, and since you're sick,"
She did air quotes when she said sick.
" I made you soup."
She roughly handed me the thermos and with one last look at Nick, turned and walked away. As Nick closed the door, I started to cry.
