Seriously...great suits at thrift stores. Coats are easier to find.
I am hoping to find some more suit pieces, like a nice vest. I have found a LOT of good shoes though. You would be surprised what a good shining can do.
Also, it's a good feeling once you buy a 20 dollar coat, then get it tailored (cheaper if you have a good relation with a tailor) and you are walking around in a mint 500 dollar coat for like 50 bucks. Thrift stores rock for club clothes.

That last coat was pretty good. I've never been able to find anything decent at thrift stores, with maybe just a couple of exceptions. Certainly never a good suit.
