I'm taking this 3-d stuff as a required course, and don't know the first thing about how staggers and stuff are being done...I'm used to traditional, how is the board breaking and staggering like that?
@IBetYouWillFemales - I actually just duplicated one of the boards and modified it to make it look jagged. And then what I did was I keyframed the broken board behing hidden until the moment it needs to start moving upward or appear broken. At that same moment the original mesh that was unbroken gets hidden. :) Hope that helps.
