Congratulations to US President Barack Obama on winning the Nobel Peace Prize! Let the right wing, anti european hate machine begin!

Obama won the prize "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," the Norwegian Nobel Committee announced, saying it had "attached special importance to Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons."

Well I respect your side. I on the other hand am unhappy that he was nominated in the first place. What about the others that were nominated like Sima Samar who lived an oppressed life in Afghanistan and had to flee her country. She is an example of a deserving modern fighting woman for the rights of all people. According the reason he got it was because "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples." he didn't do any of this in 8 months.
