Yes, I believe the detectives were a lot closer to the truth than Dr. Gilbertson with his theory of one man. The rumor that is most popular is satanists but I don't buy this at all, I sense just the opposite, a group of individual with extreme religious motivations. I sense they literaly 'judge' their victims, stalk them, spy on them, and then plan their ideal time to murder them. I believe that many of the men are homosexual or rumored to be, and that this may be why the men are picked.

they cracked the case today 05/25/2008...very strange. hierarchy cult group from all over the country tag, abduct, torture and murder young college aged men. at least 40 men who were killed are linked to the underground group called the smiley face serial killers. they leave behind painted smiley faces were the dead bodies enter the water in the river.
