Ballade in D Minor, Op. 10, No. 1 ("Edward")

This is me performing Ballade in D Minor, Op. 10, No. 1, by Brahms. It is also known as the "Edward" Ballade.

In case you aren't familiar with this piece, this is a summary of the story of the piece as described by Wikipedia:

"A mother questions her son about the blood on his sword. He puts her off with claims that it is his hawk, his horse, in some combination, but finally admits that it is his father whom he killed. He declares that he is leaving and will never return. His wife and children will have to fend for themselves; he predicts the children will beg. It usually ends with a bitter curse on the mother for her part in it."
