Melodica the evil cat

she is my cute little baby Melodica (Melo) the worst cat you've ever seen. she is almost a year old and i can not even touch her. if i look at her for to long, she can get this mad.
no one believes me that this isnt the worst thing, sometimes when i get into my room she is waiting for me, and of course, she just jumps and bites.

Wow! I had a cat like this once too. He was miserable all the time, it seemed. Once he started attacking kids just for being in the room (not even NEAR him!) I had to have him put down. I couldn't find someone to take him who wasn't afraid of him or had kids, and I couldn't risk him being around kids at my house. I really believe, still do, that he had a screw loose. He was never treated harshly or harmed, just had a bad way since he was a kitten.

awhm ): if we could just help her, to behave better, it would be great. i have a little brother but the cat acts really nice with him. i wanna know what to do because i love animals and i wanted a pet so bad before she arrived, and now she hates me.

You know what I've heard? The best way to get a cat to like you is to completely ignore it. Feed it, if possible, so it can see that YOU are feeding it. Take care of it, just don't talk to it, or even acknowledge it. Do that for awhile, then if it starts to acknowledge you, do it back for like a sec. or 2. Basically, just let it make the first move. Cats are weird creatures.
