Cecil VS Ex-Death, US Dissidia Release

I take on Ex-Death in the Storyline mode of Dissidia.

Cecil is a fairly awesome character. Ground Physical attacks (done with the Square button) change him to Dark Knight, while Aerial Physical attacks change him to Paladin. Paladin form's attacks are fast, and you can easily air juggle opponents. Dark Knight's attacks are powerful, and can rapidly break an enemy's Bravery, or finish them off. They are very slow, though.

I need to get her done too, still leveling Cecil a bit, had some issues with the last storyline card of the initial line. Pisses me off they gave them so many up-close accessories. Also leveling Terra to see if I can use her to bust through.

Cecil is silleh! Actually, he's kinda strange to play with. Fun though.. I really want to unlock Shantotto but just a wee bit too lazy to do so..

If you hit Square in the air, you will change to Paladin, and when you hit Square on the ground, he flips back to Dark Knight.

It's pretty awesome, since Dark Knight's moves are very powerful but slow, where Paladin's are weaker but lightning quick.

I've never played as Cecil. Can you change his Paladin/Dark Knight forms as you wish, or is it triggered by certain abilities?
