Teré Foster demonstrates how to transition to whole foods and how to convert your kitchen to whole foods. She also demonstrates fast and efficient cooking methods for the conscious cooking community. Many people already know they want to do this, but just need to know what the steps are. With the same food budget you already spend for the week you can buy whole foods that will last for the year. The cookbook includes the recipes and food production instructions to make your own groceries from scratch--and it's not that hard! By dehydrating beans and rice that is already cooked, whole wheat that is sprouted, vegetables from the garden, and fresh milk and eggs you can make dry mixes that only require water to create meals that your family will love.

Create a Conscious Cooking Co-op

Part 1 -- Creating a Conscious Cooking Co-op. This section includes a plan to create a co-op in your local area that supports your efforts to eliminate your food bill and your dependence upon manufactured foods by becoming "the producer" instead of "the consumer." Members of the co-op divide the food production chores and swap food items; freshly made tortillas for fresh tomatoes from the garden or freshly ground spouted whole wheat for melon popsicles.

Part 2 -- The Recipes -- Hamburgers? Pizza? Tacos? Chalupas? This is not your typical vegetarian menu! Even skeptics can eat these foods whole-heartedly and love every bite. It all starts with our own secret recipe for Mega-Meat made from cooked beans and rice, and vegetables. Dehydrate the mix to make your own dry mix that only requires water. With Mega-Meat, a vegetarian diet is easy and fun.

Part 3 -- The Production Schedule - Spread your production tasks over the days of the week so that you can make your own groceries. The production plan helps to make this plan do-able. You will love the way you feel when you sit down to a meal made from groceries that you produced yourself!
