Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks were great but they are not the nation. There were also people in Germany and Japan who tried to stop all this but failed.

So you're saying Germany and Japan are still "evil" today. Yeah, I don't think so. Neither is America. The world isn't black and white.

it isnt about which nation has superiour moral ground, and the whole film isnt about the treacherous enemy or the americans destructiveness, the challanges the brother and sister face are from their own countrymen, by and large. the eamericans attack, sure, but they really run into trouble from their aunt, or the farmer who beats him up...
