This video demonstrates a conveyor I have built to work in conjunction with the forced air oven I have built for my T-shirt enterprise. Find more information concerning this oven and the conveyor at the DIYDTG Wiki.
This is a terrific video. I don't really understand these guys that start promising projects like this and then never tell the whole story (or how it ended up). Even if something failed we could learn from it.
A couple of thoughts. Why do these have to be so big and wide? As long as the shirt can reach (and stay at temp) for the requisite time, what do we need all the extra length for?
Love the rotisserie motor idea. Mine is from a Farberware tabletop electric rotisserie. 1.2 RPM & STRONG!
Instead of E clips on the belt tensioner, a hole through the rod and a cotter pin might be faster to make. I wonder if a discarded metal range hood would be a better choice for the oven housing if you're worried about heat. Clever using the window screen belting and gasket cement for joining the ends. I like the overall design. Looks like you built this for under $400. How is it holding up?
