Today, it has been 40 years since the day when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon. Armstrong took a special kind of music with him to the new world: Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony.

The third part of this famous composition by a Czech composer was chosen as the music background of this video, too. The moving pictures were collected from various well-known programs and YouTube video clips.

  • Wow, what a great choice it was by Armstrong!

Thank you for all your videos of Czech music. I've just returned from a wonderful tour in Prague. The Czech music is wonderful too!

  • This is absolutely epic !!

Dunno, why Aldrin with Armstrong pick this symphony, but in my humble oppinion is Dvořák's symphony proper choice to listen, when you are about to discover something new (just like Dvořak's feelings, when he came to the New World for the first time). His music is really one of a kind !

    Greatings from Prague (Czech Rep.)
