i love this game so much. this is seriously my favorite game. the years that passed have made my appreciation go up for it more.
i'll never forget when i came home with this game when i was 6.

I think Megaman 7 doesn't get appreciated because it's too easy. Junk Shield is too easy-mode and lets you breeze through levels.

What I like best about some of the finale music in mega man is that they can be tied into the plot of that game, or what little there is.
Dr. Cossack is revealed to be on the short end of a blackmail scheme, and could lose his daughter if megaman wins.
Protoman is Megaman's brother.
Megaman THREATENS TO KILL WILY after the final boss of this game!
Every theme that these plot lines belong to is appropriately bleak, and I love them all the more for it.

I never quite understood why 7 gets all the hate it does, it truly had some great music and was classic in the Mega Man formula, save for a couple of changes that if anything, spiced it up. I know it was easy compared to say MM3, but wasn't anything after 3 a cakewalk anyway?
In any case, listen to that slap bass line. Its so sexy!

It'd be far more acurrate to say that MEGAMAN 7 is a prime candidate for single most underrated game ever made.
I mean honestly,I can't think of a another videogame series that has had an entry come along that took everything that was great about said series and bring it to a whole new level and then some....only to be crucified just because a good portion of it's fanbase for some inexplicable reason can not move beyond 1988.
