First time I heard about Sleater-Kinney was in my 9th grade English class. We were studying Homer's Odyssey so I think we listened to Memorize Your Lines. Then they opened up for Pearl Jam and I was hooked. Great band Portlandia's awesome too so is Wild Flag

@ghostwhiskey I was the same way! LOL PortIandia is the same reason how i found out about them. I hate and love the fact that I found it late. I like listening to something that seems to be my own little secret.

WHY,did it take me so long to find this band???? ive been hearing the name for years and never checked them out. to be honest if it wasnt for "portlandia" i wouldnt even have thought about them,but they are just......so fucking awesome
