everything done digitally? thats not always true. Ppl who do comics/manga start from paper + pencil. Inking then tranfer to the computer to add backgrounds. but rarely to the artists i know they do everything by hand which i give them respect.

drawing on the computer has become the norm for me, but fun to remember art school days of having to use pencils...great stuff

I agree. All my professional work is done digitally, but when I draw outside of class and while I instruct I make it a point to continue to draw traditionally as to not loose the look and feel of it as I hope it finds it's way into my digital work too.

I saw this video, ejaculated, went out and bought two packs of Sanford ebony pencils the very next day. Amazing.

Great work, Really nice. I draw to myself but more portraits. But I want to go more to the conept art, Kinda like u :D Can u pls tell me what kind of pencil u use? normally i draw with a regular 8b, nothing special. but the shading and other things u do... cant get that with my pencils :P

The pencil used in this demo is actually a Sanford Ebony Pencil. Extra smooth, jet black for a nice set of values from soft and light to a very dark black. Thank you for your nice comments . . . more to come,
