Drown them in melted butter, then soak up all that melted butter with a cinnamon/sugar mix, a dash of nutmeg. You're welcome.

He's absolutely right---sometimes there isn't anything else in the world that can compare with a perfectly golden brown piece of toast. I think that is my favorite breakfast: a hot cup of joe and some lovely, fragrant, crusty French or Italian bread.
And this Welsh Rabbit recipe looks delicious, too. Going to have to go shopping soon.
