  • -I understand that he's a wing chun specialist, but, if he's competing in MMA shouldn't he be slightly versed in all the arts even though his forte is the wing chun. I mean, c'mon man! It was just a high round kick and he couldn't even pull it off.

  • what a tool, this guy is doing nothing good for wing chun. its all good wanting to show people the style but he should at least be half decent with it before attempting shit like this. to be honest theres more wing chun in my nans every day movements than there are in this guys fighting style lol

  • Mental....

  • @089hlj yeah like how lyoto machida specialises in shotokan karate. but still uses boxing combinations

  • Why...why on earth is this video ON THE GUY'S CHANNEL!?

  • This guy made me laugh so hard haha. Moan, aah moan I've not trained in Muai thai before...well why are you applying for MMA fighting and trying to show off skill in something you can't do...."many life times" dude that's verging on delusional.

  • Wing chun is ideally for the streets, not in a combative sport context. I admire the way MMA fighters train, that's coming from a wing chun practitioner. The main thing to remember is that comparing wing chun and "MMA" in a ring context is unfair due to the fact wing chun prepares you for the streets. Sure no martial arts system is complete. We all do marital arts for different reasons, but if you just do one. true MMA in street self defense is what I train for.

Wc'ers on YouTube are just bad.

  • love wing chun hate shawn, if you dont want to mix styles dont compete in MIXED martial arts. Cause guess what they are going to want to see more than one style.

  • pussy white boys afraid to fight a wing chun??? if ur so good why not accept the challenge o.O

  • @arlynxyu If you're a fan of Bruce Lee, then you would know that's he's gotten into street fights with other kung fu masters in San Francisco. Of those, his notable fight was against Wong Jack Man. From that fight, what did he learn? He learned that WC has lot of flaws and many movements are flowery and ineffective, which encouraged and motivated him to learn whatever's effective and whatever's out there. At the end, outside of HK movies, his style was moving away from WC.
