  • Yeah. Probably because he's English.

  • @Mapanatl Better go look up "Cockney," Mapanati. If you're gonna be insulting, you could at least be accurate about it

Except Bamber isn't Cockney, either. Though I'm sure he's very sorry his accent is inappropriate for your ear,

  • It's funny how people react to an English actor doing (gasp!) an American accent! It's not unusual - Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, Jude Law, Anthony Hopkins and dozens of other UK actors have done very convincing US accents in films and on TV. Remember, us Americans think they're the ones that have accents but to their ears, we're the ones that talk differently!

  • wtf was he saying

  • @TheDoctorNita You are right about that. I didn't realize he was British, I don't watch House or follow actors in shows I don't watch so I had no idea until I randomly stumbled on his wikipedia page.

  • @ctraver Hugh Laurie does a great job!

  • @MinionBooBoo agreed! Some american actors just do not have their British accent right... eeeeek

  • @VirgoGal74 Hugh Laurie as Doctor Gregory House!

  • @ctraver Honestly, I've heard way more successful British actors doing American accents than Americans mimicking British ones.

  • @Mapanatl You must be a dumbass and not read anything, Jamie was born and raised in London, he is every bit as English as anyone else in that city. He went to school in Cambridge and then went onto to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. If you're gonna go insult someone, at least find the correct info to do it.

  • @MaryAnnJohanson His American accent is surprisingly good though. I've heard English attempts to replicate our accent. It rarely turns out well(I suspect they say the same of American attempts to imitate their accents)

  • cant hear a thing he said

  • @Mapanatl geez! the nerve of some people! by god, what are they THINKING, talking in an accent you don't approve of!

don't be insulting. I'm sure your accent is just downright ugly.
