emd 645 in a GE P42. not too proto but it sounds cool none the less. this is really how amtrak should do it. replace the dumb GE prime movers with EMD ones

lol now it's a EMD F42PHI :D

@jimmyp42002 Why would they do that? Also, why start up the classic EMD vs GE flame war? If you are an EMD fan, thats fine, but the railroads are the ones with the money and the resources and if they want to use GE, then let them. GE's get better power anyway. I work for the railroad. I dont talk without a reason. EMDs are nice for their Radial Trucks, but the power sucks and the traction motors take too dam long to load up. Im on coal trains alot and GE is what I prefer. Thanks.

Where do you get this???!!!

the horn is on point but word of advice. got to your nearest amtrak station and hear a ge prime mover because it surly does not sound like that but still a great effort. I like the directional lighting and the horn was nice but if you would a ge 4000hp prime mover, it would of been perfect

@Addicted2Guitars They are sold out, new run will be available maybe on summer, I need to convert them with sound decoder only if you request it with payment upfront for everything. Price per converted loco is $250 you can calculate shipping on US Postal service website, engine weight 2 pounds.

@dcctrain how much are the locos if i were to buy 2 and do u ship to CA?
I bought this decoder from your shop before. How much does it cost to install this dcoder to p42 with ditch light effects.
