@see4ward The church follows a liturgical calendar with different seasons, like Advent in December, Lent in the early spring, and so on. Each season has a color (Lent being violet, for instance, and red for Pentecost), and this will be shown in the color of the vestments clergy officials wear, as well as in the decor of the sanctuary. Green means 'ordinary time', which means no special season is being observed. That mostly means it's between Pentecost and Advent...or, summer/autumn. :)

I was raised Roman Catholic - left the church when I was 14 ---attended the
Episcopal Church while in the Army - after the Army drifted back into the ways of
world --- eventually became an Assembly of God minister if turning my life over
to Christ -- left the Assemblies for a variety of reasons and this past January 2011
was confirmed into the Episcopal Church after attending for two years and
finally found a home. It is where I belong after a long search.

When you looked at the calendar you said, today is green...What do the different colors mean?

Religion is such bullshit it's ridiculous. Anyone with a brain would just walk away and live free of religion.

The Bible says that the function of the priest is to make sacrifices to God. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the sacrifice we offer in the New Covenant. Priests might do other actions but many of these can be done by non-priests like leading prayers and organizing the parish. Only a priest can offer Mass.
are you protestant?

Yep. And catholic, in the sense of the 'universal' church.

Oh a Vatican II result! I'm glad to see this out in the open because it shows the apostacy Our Lady warned of at Fatima.

The Episcopal Church has considered itself protestant and catholic for sometime before Vatican II.

I like your videos very much. But can women be bishops?

Yes. In the Anglican Communion, many churches allow it.
