There is no cure for neuro-typical, to bad we couldn't merge some of the strengths of Asperger's into normal people like focus and intellectual pursuits; then maybe we wouldn't have to live with Jersy Shore, reality TV, texting and Facebook and other single minded obsession with narcissism and fame that neuro-typicals have. We neuro-typicals say you have the syndrome only because we live in a mad world.

Congragulations on your book and all that you have been able to accomplish in your life, Mr. Dubin. I wonder if you have any sensory issues (haven't read your book yet). I have often found that "may have sensory issues" is a term left out of autism and Asperger's short-hand definitions in textbooks or news articles. I have AS, and have had to hand over my life to auditory sensitivity that compounded into phobias. I can't leave my home now. High-functioning can still mean severely impaired.

I was diagnosed in 1989, before it was an official diagnosis and grew up in a small town. I was of course ridiculed nearly every day after that because it was poorly understood and I don't think the teacher explained it well because SHE didn't understand it.

hey docdubin do you know a video about someone with more then just asperger becose i have asperger dyselxia and adhd i may also have terrets and something that makes me clumsy :( i realy need to find a video about more then aspergers im finding my life realy hard and sadly thought about scuicide menny times befor so yeah my life sucks so if anyone knows somewhere i cant get infomantion fast please tell me :)
